Children’s Citizenship Ceremony

The New Americans Museum (NAM) in partnership with USCIS (United States Citizenship & Immigration Services) is proud to host a very special Children’s Citizenship Ceremony held every two years at New Americans Museum in Liberty Station, where we continue the tradition of celebrating the contributions of both new and existing immigrants. This ceremony is particularly special because it is dedicated to immigrant children, who are not typically sworn in publicly as part of a formal citizenship event. We believe that becoming an American citizen is a deep honor and these young and eager individuals deserve to begin their own New American journey in a public setting with a celebration. Over 450 guests including children & their families, VIP/special guests, Mayor(s), other State and Federal elected officials, local dignitaries, civic leaders have attended in the past.

Check back for updated information on the next ceremony.
